    When I have head to head competitors send it in the chat to start the match

    I believe that turns the Chat OFF. I guess it's there to let you know that anything you type in will not be seen by your opponent. You can also permanently turn chat off in your settings. Not sure if you receive the ! auto to let you know they have it turned off?
