Just throwing  an idea out there  , what do people think of having an option to forfeit in turf wars?

as a very small insignificant club , when drawn against a much larger and more successful club, I would think being able to forfeit would appeal. This would allow the small club to start towards a new turf war , and perhaps a more favourable draw. Would also allow the more successful club a quicker win and start towards the next one.
Would there be any downsides? I can’t think of any, and as far as WGT are concerned it would possibly  create more sales of cc passes.

I hate people forfeiting in any game mode in WGT. There is definitely something wrong with the programming, coding side of WGT as I have lost so many credits, XP, prize money and gained extra shots, bogies from people forfeiting.

I agree , on a one v one situation , but here I am talking about the club forfeiting a turf war draw , in order to move on more quickly to another turf war.

I understand where you’re coming from, but it would ruin WGT’s setup.  Matchup is determined by trophies.  Play better, trophies go up, worse, go down.  With forfeits CC’s could possibly never advance, members couldn’t benefit from the 5-15% bonus coins or xps.

Maybe your club has changed, and a better solution would be to have WGT reset the trophies once a year or by club owner request.

    What are Trophies?

Trophies are a skill level used to best match your Country Club against another. When your club performs well in Turf Wars you may see an increase in trophies. If your team is performing poorly, your team may lose trophies.

What can I win in a Turf War?

    The winning club receives:

    • One extra Superpass for the next Country Club event
    • 15% bonus Club XP
    • All participating members receive 2000 coins
    • 15% bonus to the coins earned individually during the event

    The losing club receives:

    • 5% bonus to Club XP
    • All participating members receive 200 coins
    • 5% bonus to the coins earned individually during the event

I accept all that you say protonc , but there are flaws already with the current system . For one , we don’t get to see the oppositions number of trophies when a draw is made , unless the club is actually in the top 100. Secondly there are many many occasions when the draw is nothing to do with number of trophies , due to the fact that they only hold a club searching for a match up a limited time. More often the match up is to do with who triggers at the same or similar time . At least a forfeit would allow a mis match to move on more quickly if that was wanted . At present there is no option , you just sit out 24 hours with a match that is only one sided.

IMO the problem would be this would also allow large clubs that dominate the turf wars to only play Vs smaller clubs if someone chose to do it that way.

I think random draw is at least fair in the respect that no club, large or small can manipulate who their opponents will be.

I agree with random draw remaining , no question about that , just the ability for a club that knows it can’t win to be able to forfeit early , in order to start towards the triggering of another turf war.
