Need advise on upgrading a putter, I have read so many post on putters my head is spinning, although I learned a lot from the community here. My Question is What is Best putter for someone that is a (DING) putter. I am a level 77 Tour Pro using a lv19+ Taylor Made Spider Putter. Stats are Percision=2 , Meter Speed=5, Forgiveness=3, Balance=2.5 .I want to thank everyone in advance and hope the responses help others who are also ding putters.

Any of those are good putters but honestly I might think about sticking with the starter putter until Lvl 98 when the Titleist Scotty Cameron Phantom X 6 Putter M1 (L98+) becomes available to you.

EDIT: I would also take a look at other country clubs, not a lot of your club plays regularly and its all lower level player. A different CC may offer you some more help/advice with the game.

No one putter will make a player good at putting. Technique and practice will always help more than a new putter.

Like PureGro, I'm also a fan of the Scotty Cameron. I'm using the L70 now and will upgrade to L98 if I ever get there.

Hi.  I just started playing again after taking a break of over 1 1/2 years or so due to life getting in the way.  I have the MAX L80 and still have an obsolete Nike Method 001 L72.  I had used the MAX most of the time before I took my break as I like the multitude of putting scales available with it.

When I started playing again I tried both, but again found I was better with the MAX.  I'm more accurate with the ding when I can keep my swing power under 20%.  The MAX allows me to do that most of the time.

My biggest problem is learning to read the greens again.  I completely left the game after going 4 months (guessing) without a round, and that was right about the time the Flash based game ended.  So now I am playing using an android emulator or my phone.

I would suggest you consider waiting until there is a free rental weekend.  Have a list of a few putters you want to try out and rent them  You can find out what you feel works the best for you at no charge, and you will still get the 10% purchase discount if you buy one in the 24 hour period allowed by WGT

Good Luck and keep playing for fun.

I used my Taylor Made Rossi Level 55 putter until I got to Level 98 and only changed putters then as I was gifted a putter.  So if I were you I might consider waiting a bit prior to upgrading.
