Well.I've kept track of 100 putts between 6 and 15 feet or so.

    Every putt that I dinged,dropped.

Every putt that was ding missed by 2 pics.Missed by  2 or more in. high or low depending on what side of center it was.

Not as forgiving as hoped,,But I still like it..

Oh by the way,Those missed putts only went less then 2 feet past, anything more,I did not count..to hard was the factor

This is uncannily the same as the 92 Ghost. You invariably miss the putt by what you missed the ding by.

Another factoid that may or not apply to the earlier Ghost is that missing to aim requires 2-3 times as big of a miss than used with Redwoods or Daytonas. This is risky business because you also have to factor in the distance loss for such a big miss which is why the Ghost doesn't aim well by missing.

With the level 92 putter I have missed the ding by a pixel or 2 and still had the putt catch the side of the hole and drop. That would never have happened with either of the Redwoods or the Daytona. It probably saves me 1 to 2 strokes per round.

And I'll bet you weren't trying to either, Sting. IMO, that's not what forgiveness is. Your aim was off and the miss compensated. Way too many dings go in where just missing it has them sliding by.

I am with Borntobesting on this one. The biggest difference for me between the Rossa and the Ghost Spider L66 is the latters forgiveness to have undinged putts drop. It's not about aim when we are talking about straight 6-8 footers with zero break. For longer and/or breaking putts it's harder to say if it's forgiveness or improper aim. Lowering my putting stat by 0.1 since I switched is saying something though ;)
