We often comment here that no one would ever play golf in those 30 mph winds on RSG or Pebble Beach. Well, we had a pretty good wind and rainstorm yesterday. Winds over in Monterey hit 40 to 50 mph.  Here's what happened on the 7th at Pebble Beach:

Driver at Pebble Beach's iconic 7th? You have to see it to believe it (golf.com)

Yep, a driver to within 3 to 5 feet!

Have fun and hit 'em straight,

    John

I remember being at St. Andrews 32 years ago and woke up to wind and rain. My wife(ex) laughed and said I guess you can't play golf. Played 36 holes that day and had a most memorable experience. Back then it cost me 15 dollars to play and 15 dollars for a top caddie. The caddie made such a great experience even greater.
