    While in play, just to the bottom right of the golf ball (on the tee), you will see a horizontal line that says HITS. It will either be all white, less white or even on occasion, red. What is this and what is it for? Is it a listing of your past shots at this particular place on the course where you either hit it on the fairway/green or missed it completely? I'm curious to what it stands for.

    hi

    each ball has durability. once it gets to red it means the ball is close to being used up and will need to be replaced. if you have more balls of the same kind/color it will auto load, if not, it will default to basic ball.
