i found it more difficult to move up to tour master than to move up to legend this might have been because i didnt have as much skill as i have picked up but for me i think i had to shoot around 30,31 for 9 holes 32 will drop your avg slightly hope this helps have fun and good golfing.

He was referring to Tier not Level, but he did SAY level.. so I can see how it can be confusing...

Tier is a mix of avg(or handicap) and the number rounds played. Read the FAQ it states it quite clearly. And the avg is definatly not 63. I know someone who was around 69 when they went from tour pro to master.  Also I checked his rounds played he is only about 10 levle higher than I am at this point but has played over 100 more rounds than me and he was master by my level. What I am trying to get at is the number rounds played is a major part.

I simply answered the OP's question... which was how long..

If you want to know the requirements..

It's something like 50 ranked rounds played AS A MASTER, meaning not total ranked rounds played, but the number of rounds played SINCE becoming a Master.

    AND

An average lower than 63, which means 63.XX is not good enough, it needs to be 62.99 or lower.

Once you meet BOTH of those requirements, you will move up.
