Here is a question that may provide feedback.

For the people who live in countries or states that do not allow participation in skill based gaming if the the prize is a pseudo monetary reward (credits) requiring an entry fee.  However, those states and countries can participate if the reward is a prize.  But doesn't this prize have a monetary value to it.

I think it is because you are putting up credits to win credits .... (money for money in other words) .... which i'm supposing would be considered a wager or a risk in a game and as the outcome of the game is based on skill rather than chance that is why it is not legal in those places. I belong to one of those states that doesn't allow it ... louisiana ... which i know for a fact has had a history of illegal gaming (or gambling) ... casino gaming (which we have here) is strictly regulated and monitored to prevent cheating by any parties and i am positive that is the reason why skill based gaming is not allowed .... there is no structure set up to monitor that type of gaming to ensure fairness and honesty ... the same may be true where you live ...

I suppose that I can understand the exclusions in the match play challenges ... those are definitely wagers between 2 individuals.   The Ready-Go tournaments are where the exclusion confuses me.  I can put up credits for any premium tournament with some high-value prizes, but not the RG's. In my mind, the only difference is that WGT takes a cut from them.

And an extra thought ....it's not like credits won from the ready-go tournament  even HAVE a cash value ....since we don't have the option to withdraw credits from our accounts. Once i buy credits, those $ i spent forever become monopoly money ... only good for purchases in the pro shop. Can't be considered winnings if  I can't collect them.
