Torrey appears to be a breeze compared to Olympic! Well played Nativa1 and microbotics. I’m coming along for the next round though 16-under at Erin Hills is going to be some ask ………

Well done to all three survivors for getting through Torrey Pines, and all on the first day of the week too!  We now have to wait a week for the next nailbiting instalment of the Strokeplay Survivor where we will be travelling to Erin Hills.

    WOW !!!

What a wonderful Memorial Tournament. My congratulations to ALL the players who grinded it out and participated. Competing in a Memorial Tournament is ALWAYS a great time. Win or lose isn't the goal, it is your participation to remember one of the most well-known and ONLY Forum Councilman that we were honored to know and love.

Dennis aka: andyson's Photoshop work so many years ago was THE BEST, THE FUNNIEST and always done with a classic tone to all his work.

Last and most importantly - HATS OFF and a huge Thank You to Miokontic and all the other players involved taking the time, effort and hard work putting this GREAT Tournament together. A perfectly run tournament on every level.

Peace and Love to ALL. Jeff

Well played Nativa.  It was one course too far for me. Just for a moment, as I stood on the 17th tee needing just two birdies, I thought that I might be able to pull it off but I failed at the 17th and fell one stroke short.

Good luck to microbotics when you play.

And a big thank you to everyone - organisers and players - involved in this fun tournament. I’m looking forward to next year’s tournament already.

Well done to Nativa for surviving this week, and to Boycalvin for getting so far.  Can Microbotics now beat the cut line to take the tournament into the final week?

We have a winner!  Congratulations to Nativa1 for being the sole survivor at Erin Hills, bringing the Andyson Memorial 2024 tournament to a close.  HamdenPro will be hard at work engraving your trophy and presenting it in due course.

There will be one small matter of prizes to be distributed; but as it is now close on 2am I will sort out all prizes, for both the Matchplay and Strokeplay events, in the morning.

Thank you to everyone taking part, and to all those who helped out in the hour (month!) of need.  I would say that I hope to see you all again next year, but seeing as I haven't played this game since the (in my opinion) awful update where they gave the avatar the yips, I very much doubt I'll be around to run it.  But, as the saying goes, never say never.
