I will be turning level 90 tomorrow, and want to buy the r11 irons. People say that the 3, 4, 5 are game changers because they stop on a dime, how much quicker do they stop than the burners? i got to test the burners on the free rental weekend and loved them. Are those 3, 4, 5 irons really much better?

I wouldn't say "stop on a dime", but much more controllable for sure...I think YJ made that comment, but IIRC he uses the is balls, so for him they may stick better.

It isn't as much about sticking as it is about controlling the rollout. You can control these. I do use the (s) ball but rarely use more than 1/2 spin (full spin jerks the yardage around too much-carries in helping wind and kills the yardage with wind in your face.)  The easiest way to describe what those irons do for your game is that they turn BPB 5 and 7 into birdie chances where they were a struggle before.

I'm about 27,000 away, should be just about right for a Christmas present to myself.
