I have played WGT for a long time and in the early years 2011 _ 2015 I was

    as keen as mustard.

Playing everyday, making friends and joining some great CC's.  Two I remember fondly are or were East Coast and the Yellow Brick Road, they both had great owners.

I was in East Coast when Sebicu was there in 2012, and during the London

Olympics the owner ran a comp for who could play the most rounds during the Olympics.

The prize was a putter of our choice.

Sebicu, when I checked his profile, was playing at least 13 rounds a day,

so I was up against it to beat him. As it turns out I did

and he graciously said he would never have accepted the prize anyway.

I still have that putter to this day.

After that I joined Cosa Nostra, a great club with 50 or so very strong players.

Yankee Jim and Hpurey were both members,

hpurey famous for getting WGt to make yellow callaway balls,

and Jim for speaking so much wisdom on the forums.

I eventually became owner and during that time I absoluted decried the Clash.

None of my members played in it for several years.

The point of this post is to say how things have changed, and not for the better.

We now have to use/buy passes at 37 credits a time to play multiple rounds in the clash,

Turf Wars, club goals and daily XP.

This has made so many clubs singularly focused on achieving aims

that do nothing fot the individual club membership.

The prizes in all these money making events are laughable.

So just give me a club that values it's membership and not one that just throws rules in it's face.

You must play this and you must do that - no effin thank you.

Check out Phantom Ball Society. I think it is everything you are looking for. I think you would be pleased.
