My avatar is white as a ghost and pink ears

Not sure why the avatars had to change

It also works well on Steam

Can you upload a screenshot from steam?

    Library---right click on the game----properties---updates.

    Thank you.

Couldn't send the screen shot I made but it showed that it updated at 9;15 this morning

As of 1600 hours 11-9-2024 screen is jumpy, meter has skips to end of scale, unplayable.

System has been rebooted, cache cleared. background programs stopped. No help.

Not possible to regress to earlier program?

Sure seems like a no-brainer doesn't it. Then they could take as long as they like de-bugging this new "beta" version.

My guess is that the newest update requires a dedicated GPU.  Saying this because I looked all over the www for some answers to why the game is so horrible after the last update.

Is there anyone reading this that has a lot of computer knowledge to tell me if I am correct about needing to buy a gaming-type PC to play this game now?  I appreciate the help.

Game is working awesome for me.  The avatars look a little wonky, but they'll improve those.  Meter is perfectly smooth, putting and iron distances are spot-on, and I've been shooting some pretty good rounds since update and lowered my average by a little - keep up the good work Team WGT!

Would you mind sharing your System Information?

Its just a basic HP laptop with Gen 11 Core i5 quad core with 32mb RAM and onboard graphics.  It's a LAN connection running about 900Mbs both up/down.  Windows 11 Home.  I run 2 32" Samsung TVs as monitors and use a Logitech MX Master USB mouse.  Definitely not some souped up gamer rig.

Only time I have any meter issues whatsoever is when I tried running BlueStacks Android emulator for TapJoy games at the same time as playing WGT.  I had a cheapo Android tablet laying around so started using that strictly for TapJoy and meter problem went away.  Those emulators can be memory hogs which can lead to WGT issues.

I also used to have issues when using my mouse in Bluetooth mode if I had other Bluetooth devices connected to the laptop (headphones for steaming on Discord and a BT speaker for listening to music at the same time).  Ever since I switched the mouse to USB dongle mode no more problems.

And those 2 issues were long ago, and caused by me/my system - not any WGT update.

**edit - and I play strictly through the launcher, never have used Steam for anything

Might be on to something there. With all the new bells and whistles and wiggling and waggling it might be taxing cpu/ram on basic computers not to mention increased bandwidth being used.
