Hi Yiannis, wherever the fault does lie, I'm sure that people would like to eliminate their own set up from the issue, and the system monitor helps to show how stressed their system is while playing.

I agree with you that this game is not a heavy load on our computers, an animated golfer and a bar going across the screen is not much work for a GPU, whether discrete or integrated.

Here is the really sad part....

The "upgrades" made in the last update, do not warrant individuals to have to make hardware changes to their systems.

I can see if they delivered an upgrade that matched the old flash version, then maybe they could justify alienating potentially thousands of users, who can't, won't, or don't know how to make these upgrades.

We went from Flash and mobile (sophisticated on one and corny on the other) to all Mobile (PCEA, mostly the mobile version), and now to even more bizarre and corny stuff than mobile, and we're finding a bunch of PCs which were fine before, are now basically unplayable- and what is there to show for it? Worse graphics, worse mechanics, worse gameplay.

Instead of expanding the base, and keeping the functionality of the game as top priority, this is almost a poison pill.

Yiannis....  Would you mind sharing your system info?

    I'm running Win7 on a Dell Optiplex 990 with an I7-2600 @ 3.4Ghz w/ 8Gig memory and Intel HD onboard graphics.

Hey Henry. My system is an 5600 CPU and a 3060 GPU. But, 7 months ago i was running the game with no issues with an i7 intel (2008) and a 570RX GPU. I changed to win 10 a year ago, before i was playing with no issues with win7.

No objections on that at all.

Seems simple to me...........Revert back to the last 'good' update........make a lot of players happy..............do proper diligence, and put out an update AFTER you quality check it.

Looks like I spoke too soon . It seems the game is more off than I thought. I have noticed that my phone as yet still hasnt updated yet . Also some of my club distances do seem off. Its pathetic that after all of these years that WGT still cant install an update without causing a bunch of chaos. I only play during the weekends now because the game was going to garbage.

Maybe if we all stopped playing for a month then WGT would get it together.

I use my phone only for free credits, it updated today and it only goes so far and kicks me out, i play on a pc with windows 10, 8 gigs ram. I had a windows update on wednesay. Played a 18 hole round and only got 15 dings, i normally get way over 25. Meter still stuttering at times. My avatar is pixelated at times. Funny I've only seen 3 posts from wgt, two from nico and one from shamwow. I 've been here since 2008 and remember the flash days. To me it seems like the new avatar animations are affecting the meter. Also i find that on the 1st and 2nd shot if you zoom in ( the avatar is out of the screen), the meter is much smoother. Ed
