  hi

  i think the idea is good but it may not work  because it's not like poker. this is individual game against the field and many times players may play their round in 10 min but others pause and end up playing it for an hour, so it just would not work well.

  i think you are correct if we are talking about stroke play - but the concept doesn't make any sense for stroke.

   

  8-man Match Play Ready Go's would work.

  Sign up, it fires off when 8 are filled. You get paired with someone randomly. Win to move onto the next round. 

  There'd have to be a lobby with the bracket to be viewed, and some sort of estimated time left on matches - or maybe. Time would be doable, just put everyone on a 60 sec clock.

  ... and may be 3-5 minutes break between games for bathroom, beer, smoke... etc... 

  and yes, I picture it as a MP knock out sit and go :)

  I dont agree Icon because players who entered this kind of a tourney would know they had to tee off str8 away,Players that need more time simply wouldnt enter it at that particular moment,
