There must be thousands of country clubs out there of every kind looking for members. What do you think is the primary reason people start new ones?

I am sure their is lots of reasons. I started my own 1 man club because I dont like the rules of some clubs and I can play what and when I want. If i want to take a couple months off I can no questions asked. Some club owners say "drama free". 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have been a member of a few clubs and the drama always creeps in every now and then. The ones that create the drama have to be right all the time.🙄 JMO

Running a WGT country club and running a for-profit business have at least one goal in common; being successful. I have belonged to several WGT country clubs over the past eight years that I consider successful, some large and complex, others small and simple. I even threw my hat into the club owner’s ring a few times, failing all but once and even that was questionable.  My one “success” was when my club had no requirements or expectations. It also had no members. I figured out that if I lowered my standards enough, the chances of failing decreased until “success” was achieved, but I also learned that where there is little or no risk, there is little or no life, enjoyment, fun. I do enjoy just playing rounds with friends for the sheer pleasure of playing but there needs to be some competition going on or I get bored. Some single player stuff is ok but it’s the multi-player competitions that get my blood moving and keep me coming back.

Agree with this statement. I play solo for the daily goals but other than that 90% of my games are alt shot.
