I have commented on this subject before to no avail. But after today, I have to do it again. Eagles, Aces, Long Drives, Long Putts and other individual accomplishments in match play games should be applied to a player's awards. After all, the shot was made and it should count.
I have seen my son ace BP #3 and only he and I know about it. The other day I eagled KI #15 and today I eagled BP#4 (my 8th and 9th eagles respectively). But, alas, in my award column it says I only have 7 eagles. I'm sure many other players have suffered the same fate.
WGT has set up an elaborate system to recognize increasing award status (tin, gold, crystal, platinum, etc.). Why have such a system if ALL individual accomplishments are not recognized.
I would imagine that match play is increasing in popularity on WGT. Why can't the award disparity be corrected?
