Re: Gift Button in Equipped Items

  I see there is a gift button with my equipped clubs and when I click the button it shows the cost of the equipment that looks to be a clickable button, but have not gone any further as no idea what it will do if I click it.  Could not find anything specifically on that and wondering if someone could give me more information on what the "gift" button is in the equipment area.  Thanks!

  means u can   gift someone that  club/ball

  If you click that gift button the next screen gives you two more buttons where you can search for a friend or other WGT member, and a text box where you can enter a message to be sent along with the gift, and of course another gift button.

  What happens if you try to gift someone a club they already have?  I'm assuming if it's an updated version of the club, it would probably go through, but what if it's the exact same club?

  If any of my clubs were giftable I would try it, but they're not, so I can't.  8 )

  I just meant gifting clubs generally, not necessarily from equipped clubs.  I'm wondering if WGT just takes the credits if you try to gift someone the exact same club they already have.

  I'll wait a few days to see if anyone knows.  Maybe someone from WGT will shed some light.

  On second thought, I'll look throught the equipped clubs of some of my fellow country club members and see if any own that one or the 25 credit hybrid then try gifting them one.

   

  Tried it. Got an error message saying the recipient already owns the item. No credits lost.
