OK, here is where I am with this now.
I just received a call from Telstra who provide the NBN wifi services to most Australian customers.
They walked me through trying on three different devices, laptop, iPad and iPhone. All three froze and lagged the game.
Then, we disconnected my home internet and tried all ways again using my local 4g Network. Same problems from different networks.
Then, we turned off Location Services and tried again - still no good.
The only logical solution was that it has nothing to do with the provision or quality of my internet or wifi services.
That it MUST be the WGT App, which I have uninstalled and installed again (and it is still stalling following the last Update and Quail Hollow loading...).
I really hope someone at WGT will treat this seriously on behalf of the number of people around the world who are having the same annoying issue.
