  I was playing head to head in the 2025 showdown this morning when my opponent hit two balls into the water and abandoned the game. This left me stalled, waiting for my next shot. It never came. I eventually restarted the app (I only play on my iPhone) which resulted in me receiving 2 bogeys for the holes I didn’t get to play and as a result of this I missed the cut line in the tournament. Is there anything I can do to keep this from happening? How do I get the game to continue so I don’t receive bogeys for holes I never got a chance to play because of poor sportsmanship? People should not abandon a game because of a poor shot. Keep playing and get better. This is not the first time this has happened to me and it is very aggravating.

  Only thing you can really do is close the app and re-enter right away, like within 30 seconds.  Sometimes this will allow you to continue along solo, sometimes it doesn't.

  Email customer support (members@worldgolftour.com) or use the Contact link over at the side of this page and explain what happened.  You'll get refunded your entry fee, but you are out of luck for the ball hits used up to that point and any potential winnings you might've received if you had advanced to final round.
