Thank you to all the 80 teams that have signed up this years world cup, We have some changes to go over which have been put in place in the rules, Like we will not have any groups or seperate tables.

So how we going to run the WC you ask
well lets go over some of the changes in 2025
Round 1 will be decided by the LIVE DRAW on who plays from team 1 to 80, The next 6 rounds will be picked at random on who you play out of the other 79 teams. Everyone plays 7 other teams in a matchplay format over 7 World cup rounds.
There will be a World Cup League table with all 80 teams on it on a points system from 1 - 80. Following the first 7 round stage teams 1 - 32 go into the Cup, teams 33 - 64 go on to play for the Plate and the bottom 16 teams are eliminated from contention.
Ties will be broken based on total wins. If still tied will go to total draws. If still tied we will countback starting with round 7 points gained, then round 6, and so on until tie is broken, the best points round moves on.
Also with the bountry player who will be picked will have to play a minimum of 5 out of the 7 group stages and if your team is still in to plate either the cup or plate, you will need to play all matched till your team has won the WC or knocked out
The bounty player and captain can pick which of the 5 courses they play in the round matches.

CAPTAINS YOU CAN START SENDING YOUR TEAM'S OVER WHEN YOUR READY AND YOU ALL HAVE TILL THE 3RD FEBRUARY 2025 TO GET EVERYTHING SENT OVER READY FOR THE LIVE DRAW ON THE 9TH February 2025
When picking a captain for your team - All captains must use discord and be in the World cup discord captain's room for the 2025 Finny's world cup

TEAM NAME - CAN BE ANYTHING YOU LIKE
AND A TEAM LOGO IF YOU HAVE ONE OR WE CAN USE YOUR COUNTRY CLUB LOGO INSTEAD IN A SQUARED FORMAT PLEASE
you can post your team logos either on this forum or if your in the WC Discord, You can post in the disocrd team logos channel.
