  I doubt I'll get many replies (if any) but can anyone tell me why WGT can't open up the seven CTTH courses to full 18?  

  Celtic Manor, Edgewood Tahoe, Pinehurst #8 , both Lenai courses, Valhalla and Harbour Town.

  They could still keep the CTTH challenges but also open them up fully.

  This has been asked before.

  From memory I think the answer was that the courses mentioned may not have been mapped fully or in sufficient detail to allow a full 18 hole gameplay? There might also be licensing issues involved.

  Those courses were photographed for CTTH only. They only took enough pictures to take one shot on the 9 holes used. To make them full 18 hole courses they would have to go back and take 1000's more pictures to make the full course playable. With all the pictures and programming and possibly a new licensing agreement it could cost millions to make each course.
