Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I don’t have the install button, and can’t find the site info in Safari.
Not a huge deal. The only time I bed access to it outside of the game is to edit data that I didn’t have time to edit in game. eg: during a coin room tie-breaker. The link in the Pro Shop is good enough for my purposes.
Hi Letter19, it sounds as though you are quite happy with your set up as it is, but I will suggest one thing. I get the feeling that most requests for access to the notebook outside of the game are because of the lack of time available to make entries when using the in-game notebook.
I only play the game on PC and an Android phone and this is available on both those platforms, and that is to use voice to text. On my phone, when I tap the notebook to enter text, the keyboard opens and in the bottom left corner is a microphone icon...
...if I tap that, what I say (provided I speak clearly enough) is transcribed into the notebook. Now I know that some people can text incredibly fast, but saying what you want to be entered into the notebook has got to be quicker and more convenient, hasn't it? Anyway, I'll leave that with you to consider and maybe experiment. ; )
P.S. Voice to text on a PC, or voice typing as Microsoft calls it, is available by pressing the Windows key + H when you are in a text box, and you might have to tweak your settings to make sure Windows is listening to the same microphone as the one you're speaking into.
