It’s been a while since I have regularly watched videos for credits , but see they are now 60 seconds long . I am not saying every one  is , I am just noticing them tonight for gunship battle and that’s the only video that is playing for me in France . This is twice the length of what ads used to be. I think this is a huge disadvantage to new players who have no other means to upgrade équipement , without spending real money. Who thinks this is fair ?

update …. I am now getting gunship battle videos with a 30 second timer , so maybe it was just a blip.

it varies.  most are 30 seconds.  I'll have days where I get about 20 5 second videos.

Not a glitch. They have more than one version of each ad. I’m guessing it’s an experiment to see if we will tolerate the longer ones.

I find 60 second ads bordering offensive. Certainly not worth sitting through for only 2 credits.

If I’m not interested in what they’re selling after 20 seconds, I’m not going to be interested after 60. Tacking a couple 5 second timers onto the end won’t change my mind either.

My personal solution is to reboot the game as soon as I see one that’s over my time limit, and start over. Hopefully more people will start doing the same and advertisers will see that the long ads aren’t working.

Leslie sure there are a few 1 minute ones but most are 30 seconds or less and many are just 5 seconds. And I watch them on my PC using  Bluestacks on an Android emulator and my Iphone at the same time so it cuts down the time it takes to get the 150 credits. And as I don't feel the need to get lots of credits I only watch them on Tuesday and Wednesday which are my nights off.

I wonder if it makes a difference where in the world you are. Certainly I never see 5 second ads , but am seeing more 45 and 60 second ones. I too use 2 iPads  to watch but it was so pretty repetitive seeing the same 60 second one over and over again. Anyway they are free credits so I am not grumbling too much !

It certainly does!  Only people in the US have ever said they get 5-second videos, no one else!  Anything east of the Atlantic and it will be a minimum of 30 seconds now, and like you say, more and more are now 60 seconds.  But it doesn't end there; once the 60-second video finishes you have to click either a >> (Fast Forward) or a X (Close), then 5-10 seconds later another >> or X, then another 5-10 seconds later one more X.  a 60-second video now becomes 70-75 seconds!  Some countries can't even get videos for credits!  Everything in WGT is done for the US players for the most part, they don't really care about the rest of the world.

I play lots of other games, and often between levels you will get a video which you can >> after 5 seconds, which takes you to another >>, then a X, and then on some videos yet another X.  Now all of a sudden a 5-second video is 20 seconds!

These ads are all scams, often like most of their content (e.g. TesterUp, Mistplay, and many others).
