  I play in the coin rooms exclusively.  With what is going on between the US and Canada currently, we frequently hear, "it is not the American people, it is just the President".  For the most part i agree with that - I have many American friends and in fact, i was born in the USA.  However, there is a disturbing trend lately - more often than should happen in a chat during a game, Americans are jabbing me (and I am sure other Canadians) about how we should be the 51st state.  Its a fun playful poke most times, but for sure designed to poke at a sore spot.  Ya know what, we don't find it funny at all. In fact, my only response to date has been silence because if i said anything it would be GFY!  Its not funny when a country your country has supported "forever" with for the most part, unquestioned loyalty through the years when at times it wasn't the easiest to do, turns on you.  The Prez wants to say "we ain't treated the US nicely in trade".  Who the **** signed the last USMCA as President?  So 51 ain't funny right now, and I am quite surprised how many times i hear it.  Like i said, the majority of Americans are better than this, in fact i even had one apologize for the way their President is treating us - that was unnecessary, but it spoke to the type of person that player was.  The only way he gets us to be 51 is military invasion, and i don't think that's happening.  Rant over.....back to losing all my coins....thanks for listening

  Prob just trying to throw you off your game but there are azz holes in every country. I just ignore them by not replying to their stupid comments.

  I have a lot to say about this topic (I bet many do too) but nah, I'm sure the moderators wouldn't like that too much so yeah... ça suffit!

  As an American

  This subject matter seems to be finding it's way into the chat as I golf , which at first I took it as simple banter meant to rattle me while competing.

  Now I see lines being formed , and I can tell you this.

  The idea is out of date , and will not live past the current occupier of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. It's bluster and red meat for his base , which feed on his rhetoric.

  We have Love for our neighbors , on both sides.  

  The Greenland nonsense is the same , it is a distraction or slight of hand if you will.

  Panama on the other hand is another matter , which I do think he will make sure we have free and secure travel. I do think it will end equitably. 

  Here on the fairways , we can battle it out and find we are all the same. 

  As Americans we are opinionated , loud and boastful , but the majority of us are intelligent enough to not allow this fool to lead us back to the dark ages.
