  So is it just I havent noticed before , or has the prize structure changed in today’s clash . A max gold putter for top three ?  Any other changes has anyone noticed ?

  If they are indeed giving 3 golden putters then  I would think there will be less passes played as the usual top 3 clubs wont need to get the big points they usual do. Thoughts!

  True. The usual top 3 may think they don’t need to buy as many passes as usual but WGT is probably banking on the clubs just below them buying more to try and break into the top 3 which in turn will make the top 3 (or number 3 at least) buy more passes to fight them off.

  "Here are the improved prizes we're doing for Clash #250

  1st-3rd, 1 player per club gets gold putter

  1st-5th, 1 player per club 4 sleeves of balls (12 balls total)

  6th-10th, 1 player per club 2 sleeves of balls (6 balls total)"

   

  This is only for this one because it's Clash 250 then it's back to normal for the foreseeable future.  They did this for Clash 200, so all signs point to them not doing it again until Clash 300 - 100 weeks (almost 2 years) away.

  That’s interesting ,because on the app it’s only showing the gold putter for top three clubs so , maybe some of the others a little lower down won’t even know about the ball prizes !

  Also, the new tee markers and flags will go to top 500 clubs, not just the usual 100.

  However, imho, “250” is pretty lame.  Many other options were possible, given Spring, Irish time, and March Madness, not to mention pro golf tourneys.  We use the “100” for club goals on birdies, etc. and for “Under 100” in CCTH tourneys, but I would love suggestions for “250.”

  All the prizes for the top 50 clubs should be upgraded ! All the prizes are virtual, it’s not like they go to golf town and buy balls and putters ! It’s in a program, click of a mouse !

  For what it is worth, DanielT5 (God rest his soul) had a Gold Putter and he told me it is no better than the top putter WGT sells.

  I’ll make a note of Sept. 7th, maybe 250cr  in the pot and 25cr to play, and a sleeve  of Callie’s to the best TM or under.
