Re: Saved Game, cannot restart

  I started a bracket round this morning, but the dog decided he needed some yard time.

  I closed the app, and just now got back to finish round. I had the Saved Game Status come up, with Forfeit, but now with Go to Web, instead of Resume.

  When I click Go to Web, my app reloads, but I land on the same screen.

  

  FYI, I started the game on my desktop, and am trying to resume on same computer, same game app (I haven't switched to a mobile device).

  Any ideas?

  Hmm, so when I open the app on my phone, I now have 2 selections of: Forfeit or Resume...

  The note above says my game cannot be played on mobile, I have to play on "web", but "web" app won't open the game, and mobile will......

  Why can't this be simple? Like it was before? I frequently have to pause a game and come back and finish it- life happens......

  SMH. Guess I'll hit a hole on mobile and then see if I can finish on "web". (Reinventing the wheel once again).

  Had to finish on phone. (wasn't good- kudos to you out there that play on your phones, I can't do it).

  I'm guessing the round was on QUH? Or at least in a bracket containing it? Cause it's been reported before, that this happens, if you have to stop and start a round on that course. Hopefully this won't be a problem anymore, once the course officially rolls out.

  Yes, you are correct, was Quail Hollow.

  I guess we will see if it is isolated or ongoing.

  Ark, I think it's just part of the screw up where they accidentally released QH early for a few hours (with the screwed up mini maps) and then pulled it down a few hours later.  For whatever reason they left brackets with QH up - probably had to because people had already paid credits to enter some of the non-free ones.  Plus it probably wasn't worth their time to go back and redo the Bracket Generator to remove QH for 1 week.  They did make them only accessible through the web search though. 
  
  I'm with AnaNikolaj, I think this will not be a problem once the course is "officially" released later this week.

  On the subject of QH, I played it yesterday for the first time in an 18 hole Bracket and was underwhelmed.  If the wind isn't up with 13-14 greens not much of real challenge.  Trees, bunkers and water are barely in play.  Granted the one bracket round I played had Low winds and 7.9 greens, so maybe it will play completely different in harder conditions. 🤷‍♂️

  Played 3 rounds so far (1- 18 and 2- 9s). All in heavy winds.

  I do like the doglegs and some of the risk/reward shots. Remains to be seen how challenging it plays, especially with extended driver on clash and coin games.

  Always glad to have something new to play.

  Yes, agreed about having something new.  The old saying "it beats a sharp stick in the eye" came to mind as I was playing, but I should've reserved my judgement until I can play it under conditions I'll likely face in WGT Tournaments (higher winds, faster greens).

  And nothing wrong with having a good mix of easier/harder courses to choose from.  After one trip around I'd definitely put this in the easier category for sure, but time will tell.
