I keep getting Max shots reached after only mapping 2 clubs and having to Restart and find appropriate wind conditions again.

Would it be possible to set up a specific club mapping process without these constant interrupts.

Could easily be justified given the cost of new balls in performing this process.

I experienced this today on Kiawah #1.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but from what I understand, you're currently mapping your clubs in ranked rounds where you're not allowed to use a mulligan??

I'm actually in a practise round and taking Mulligans successfully.

You do realise a mulligan takes an extra hit off your ball? That is 1 hit for choosing a mulligan and 1 for the shot...

Ah, got it! Thanks for the clarification.

Like Jure kindly pointed out above, taking a mulligan counts as hitting two shots.

You mentioned that you can map about two clubs per ball and thinking back on my own experience, I reckon I’ve used around 5-6 balls on average every time I did mapping so that sounds about right. Seems like a pretty fair normal situation overall.
