I finnaly reached level 32 and decided to purchase the r11 full set... apart from distance these clubs are s*%t..... it spin doesnt even seem to work.... i put full bak spin on and the ball will nearly always roll towards the back of the green or off wen i pitch my ball at the front of the green.... is there a better set out there for a level 32 person like myself... i was expecting alot of improvement from these clubs but i have ended up going back to my started set :(

Have you tried a higher spin ball?

I can't speak for the lower leveled R11's but I know the top ones are saweeet.

The balls you are using are kinda like golf range balls sometimes they may spin/hardly spin & other times/most of the time not spin.

Look at the balls in the pro shop with spin the more dots the more spin & pick a ball with in your price range  or try a few different types out & see how they go.

No clubs are going to do much to stop the starter ball. If you want to get better results from the R11's add a ball with some spin like the 10 cent be-s ball. The more dots of spin a ball has the better it will react to the spin the club provides.

Im currently using the nike balls you get for free when buying 20 dollars worth of credits but getting very little spin with them, might try a different ball hope it spins more :)

The height of the green will make a difference along with tail wind, how clean you hit it,  and your lie. If I were you, I would not waste my money looking at clubs now. Wait til you tier up enough to get at least the big G 10s. You will not see a big enough improvement for backspin with clubs at your level. Keep practicing and you will figure out what shot scenerio will affect your backspin. This is just my opinion and others may have better info for you. Grab what works for YOU! Good luck!

R11's work great for me - I never regret a minute. Agree balls don't stop on a dime but far less roll with my Calloway's vs. the free ball. Far, far less roll (for me) when I use my starter clubs vs. the R11's. Do agree with the last post - seems that what works well for some don't work well for others.

I tried the lower level r11 irons on the free rental weekend, and yes i didn't like them, probably because i was using a worse set than what i had. These high end r11's are awesome.

Wait till you get to higher levels.  The clubs definitely help.
