I can play country club games and miss the ding by a large margin and still be in the fairway or have a 3-7 yard putt.

Same applies to what I mostly play is the challenge matches, but sometimes in those matches the game can get extremely precise, mostly I notice this when I get up, or when I'm playing for the remainder of my credits.

It can be extremely punishing to miss the ding even if it is still touching the ding, 30, 40 and 50 yards off the fairway, cant get close to the green never mind on it, putting, pitching  and chipping become near impossible traveling half the distance to a little more, 3 4 5 footers are very miss-able and often so with my miss the ding putting style.

I'm sure I'm not alone, but my question is, is there anything in the game I can do to correct this aside from just hit the ding, because that's hard every shot and screws up my putting, would disconnect and clear the cache help. Any advice would be appreciated.

Just to be clear this can go on hole after hole shot after shot and every single shot for what seems like an eternity.

Could it possibly be you are getting a little nervous, thus causing mis-hits.. Happens to me all the time especially on the last hole.

Stress I believe it is called.

I admit it gets a little harder to hit the ding playing the challenge matches, but I'm pretty used to missing the ding and have a fairly good idea of what happens when i do on a normal basis.

And I guess I'm just failing to make myself clear.

The missed dings reaction for every single club including "putter" change mid game and become far far far more exaggerated, ridiculously far off the intended line and distance. And the miss can "still be touching or almost touching the ding".

A missed ding further than that and anything can and does happen, I get that and expect that.

I try and figure out a screen capture and show everyone.

I don't know, just scratching my head here looking for something that may not exist.

Maybe it's by design to make the play even out.

The Irons I have got have fast meters, some of the time way too fast depending how my brain is working at the time...lol. So now I don't really worry about trying to hit the ding every shot.

You don't need to hit the ding to hit good shots. Ya just have to adjust a little bit for it and with practice, it works out pretty good. Except for the nerves of course, that's another story.

On the green, I'm a miss a ding putter except for straight putts. I click either side of ding depending on roll.

    Cheers
