I am absolutley p*ssed off with quitters. We should all filter them out by making a note of their names and refusing to play with them. Sorry WGT if you don't agree with this but it so fustrating and is happening to much lately

At the first tee, just send a chat that reads something like this:

Hi all....gl. I've had numerous plyrs quit in mid gm lately....so, plz...if you are not going to complete the rd, plz request to drop game now. sry,,,, and thx very much !

No one should have to do this but, at the very least, you'll have a better idea from the get-go whether there are any 'quitters' or not. In fact, you'll find that most players will probably support your taking the initiative. It won't guarantee you never encounter a 'quitter' but it should help reduce the number of times it happens.

Build your friends list up. Only way to avoid quitters.

I never select 'anyone'. Friends or I get friends to select from their friends. If we have a good game I invite them to my list.

Takes a few months to build, but well worth it.

same here, PH.   In the past I had deleted pretty much all of my friends list back when the fad was to remove friends for meter reasons, but I have replenished that list and I'm back to 70+ friends.   Especially now that I made legend,  there is usually plenty of players to get a game going without worrying about having a quitter join in.

I'm just saying... I have stopped playing in Stroke Play multiplayer because there are just too many quitters and it's impossible to complete a round with all the players who have already started finishing a round. I always play in Match Play because if a player screw up one hole, it only costs them one hole and not the whole match. And in the event that a player quits in Match Play, it's not a bad thing because them quitting means you winning. You can just add one to your Match Play victories and add points to your Monthly Match Play Points.
