Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge !!!

Anyone care to share their advice on which individual wedges to purchase?  I am now at Level 41 / Pro and have already purchased the entire set of TaylorMade R11's. This did not include replacements for my wedges.

My options to choose from are:

Cleveland CG 16 (available at level 31)

TaylorMade Z Satin (available at level 39)

Ping Tour W (available at level 41)

All are very similar in stats.however, the Clevelands are 495 credits each as compared to about 250 each for the other options.

    Also, which ones specifically would be the best option - 52, 54, 56, 58, 60, 62, or 64 degrees?

    Thanks again!

I went from the starters to the low level CG's 64, 60, and 54 as they gave me the best yardage spread. I have upgraded to the high level CG's in the same range.

    Just my personal preference.

your R11 PW goes 115 so fill in the gap under that.

IMHO For the Money you should have waited till you could get these they include the 54 and 60 tour Ws.

They are cheaper and in my opinion better than the R11's. You're going to need to upgrade to the high level G10's someday anyway so why not get used to the meter now....

Personally I wouldn't bother with the lower level Clevelands, they cost way more than the Z Satins and have the same specs.  At some point you're probably going to go for the top ones anyway so I'd save a few, well, more than a few, credits and get the Satins.  The 64° is a great club and is still used by some of the very best players here instead of the Cleveland version.

If money is no object that's a different matter but for what they cost I don't think the low level Clevelands are worth it.

For me its all about feel.  I do try the new wedges when they come out and try to learn them.  One club i have never waivered from is:

    TaylorMade Z Satin TP 64° Wedge (L39+)

Club is great in tight from all yardages.  The 41 punch stops on a dime.

    Cheers,

Bogey's all over it-that wedge isstill carried by a lot of Legends. In fact, if I come up against a Legend with 2 CGs and that wedge I know that player has that because they can nail the shots with it.

That aside, go for all the Satins until you can get the high level CGs. You won't spend a pile of money getting them and they will last you a very long time. I used the 50,77,90 and 110 versions for almost 2 years.
