Ok just got to Tour Master and was playing a CC tourney over 18 holes.  Had one disaster hole triple bogey and ended up -5.  My question to anyone who has played at this level is, I started at 62.9, scored -5 and my average went up to 64.5, how is that possible.  Can anyone explain please.

From what I gather, your starting average, when you move to a new tier, is not actually your average for that tier. You have to play a few games before your average evens out, about 6 games I think.

    Hope this helps.

Your average resets with every tier advancement.

    67+(31*2)=129 / 2 rounds = 64.5

FYI dave, when I made TM, I shot 50 ranked rounds before my avg stopped going up and down. Get those rounds in quick, and then a poor round won't hurt you.
