    Is someone that's a level 70/master required to "earn" more XP to reach their next level (71) than a level 70/Pro?

    No. levels and tiers are completely separate.

    The amount of XP to reach the next level increases widely though as you move up. The first few levels can be done in a day, when you get up in the 90's it can take 3 months.
