    hi

it's downhill. what i like to do is get into wedge distance and carry it 2-5 yards by the flag and then bring it back. once a hit a good shot, i try to remember settings so next time i adjust them and not start from scratch.

I am at 85 yards out on the fairway after my drive I hit a 95 yard wedge about 3/4 of an inch from a full hit ith full bs. I landed 10 feet from the pin. I had 11 MPH winds from the back/ left. Hope this helps (FYI I am playing this hole as I type)

I usually get good shots in Oakmont, if I am not mistaken, and we are talking about the same hole, I usually try to land a bit right of the pin, as the green downslopes leftward, I always go full backspin, usually have a wedge shot, and a few feet down to account for. The rest is all deviations, wind and how lucky you are with the meter and distance... for that, ask the programmer, as they would have a better clue of what is behind good luck and wtf here. My opinion is ball needs to land a bit right and before as it would normally roll at least a couple of feet down and left, but that depends on all said before.... I use full backspin with most wedges, and full shot, maybe different if you punch.

the elevation seems to play true... add that yardage to your shot.. figure for windage... add couple yards and hit !

I just played it 5 times to see what ur problem is, off the tee was either 3 wood or 3 iron depending on wind, left wiv wedge shots 103 yards to 83 yards and tried to hit all around the flag. If u imagine the green a clockface looking at you, then 1 o'clock was abendy 7 footer left to right. Next was 9o'clock 21 feet pretty straight, slight break R - L at end.

    Next was 8 o'clock 15 foot very slight break R - L made it.

So anywhere below the hole from 6 - 9 o'clock is good.

The distance was pretty spot on on each occasion. 85  to go -  hit 85.

With a 20 mph + wind behind, you could drive it.
