  I would like to see a tournament where to enter you must use basic clubs and unlimited basic balls. This would be tough and set a level playing field for those you haven't spent lots of $$$$ buying great clubs and balls. It may also have results that would be a little more realistic and not a winning score in the 50's for once.

  I'd be happy to enter such a tourney as the only non basic club I have is a 275yd Driver i bought way back before the level system just to reach the fairways (helped me shoot 28 on the wk 2 unlimited 9 hole at st andrews.) Just don't hold it at Bethpage.

   

  Alternatively, organize an unofficial one yourself and post the results.
