Why not making WTG more real by introducing a real handicap. At the same time give someone a maximum score for each hole not played (by disconnection). In this way the competition become more real when playing to others. Now a pro/master always win from amateur/ hack because of their equipment. As a side-effect people will finish their course because otherwise their handicap is gone (go up). For money-play you do not use the handicap (otherwise people want a high handicap) or use entry-handicaps.

this will fix what problem? avg. or handicaps are totally irrelevant. just as in real golf, a person can slot their hdc. wherever they choose to keep it. it just does'nt matter in this game what your avg. or your reputation tracking number is, another worthless concept that's being kicked around. until the meter is smooth as silk, and club, wind deviation problems are fixed everything else is pointless. thx JB

You can only fix your hdc at a high number, but if you do so you can not use your better equipment. That is not want you want so you go for the lowest hdc so you can use better equipment in tournaments. This will fix the problem of not having fair play against other tier. As master you always have better equipment than no masters. Also if people want a low hdc they can not quit during ranked play as their hdc go up.

not true, the only master equipment that makes any difference at all is the r9 driver, but against a pro playing from the forward tees i'm out driven all the time by pro's. almost every master here would trade the "master equipment" for the closer tee box, the scores would blow your mind. oh wait a minute it already does happen multi accts. staying at the pro level the second time around. trust me when i say this pro's are at a distinct advantage when playing against masters it just depends on your skill level what you do with it. thx JB

I do agree with implementing an avg "fine" for disconnecting, but it would have to be with some sort of 3 strikes rule. Say...3 disconnects in the last 10 rounds and player loses a percentage (or 1 avg). Any other thoughts?
