I play this game more for the enjoyment than the challenge of moving up in tiers, etc...but I've recently purchased a new driver and irons.  May or may not have made the right choices...whatever...I'll live with 'em.  LOL.

But in looking at new wedges I find myself wondering....

Are the Cleveland wedges that unlocked at the 20-something levels better than the Ping and Taylor Made wedges that didn't unlock until the 60-something level?  They're certainly more expensive, so why were they available at a lower level?

Quite possible I'm thinking waaaay too much, but which is more important when choosing clubs.....levels or price?

    Thanks....

The satin wedges I bought soon after I started are still in use today, great clubs at a bargain price.

You're in luck, 'cause all club rentals are free this weekend. try them all. I think there's little difference b/t Ping and Z-Satin; Clevelands are super precise, but so spinny they're hard to control, for me. (and expensive). In general, more expensive/higher level clubs = better. But you have to look closely at the wedges and their specs (dots of performance). A cheaper/lower level wedge could differ from pricier/upper level one only in yardage.
