I am not the kind of guy who reads a manual on golf or ask for directions when behind the wheel.  My record is so horrible I wish could erase it and start over. Trying to break out of a Bogart streak and  into Jack Parr. I have never shot par for 9 holes. If I do birdie I fall apart and double or triple Bogart.

    Anybody relating to this?

I play to relieve stress from my real life but have been so frustrated that I have mulled the option of quitting all together. Having a voice over my shoulder "explaining" what I did wrong or teaching what is th best approach would solve at least some of the challenges of the game. I also am a big fan of practice greens and a driving range.

Somebody on here once offered to give on-course playing lessons.  I thought that was a good idea.  I'm still waiting for Avatar Lee, Tibbets or Nivlac to walk/talk me through a round.  I tipped my last caddy 80 bucks.  :)

In all seriousness I noticed that you do not play multiplayer.

Play some multi and you will see how other people set up different holes.

    Happy hitting
