I have looked at the top logi mouses but to be honest I love my microsoft 6000 blue tooth. Now, I am not knocking the logi's, I have just never tried one.

I've gone through the full progression.  First year here I used the button on my touch pad.  Worked ok and I played well with it but slow response was death on meter spikes.

Changed to wireless mouse.   Had a nice microsoft that worked well until it accidentally slipped from my hand and smashed into a wall at about 65mph.  Replaced it with top of the line Logi MX Anywhere Performance mouse ($99) which worked great for everything except this game.  Any mouse movement, even slow ones, would cause CPU to spike 10-15%.

Recently got a new system so decided to get a gaming mouse.  Went with the Logi G500 ($60-70) which I can't say enough good things about.  I can move mouse as fast as I can in circles and cpu might spike 3-4%.  Also has a button where I can change DPI on the fly so I can click one button to aim when I need more range, then when time to play my shot I can dial the DPI back and meter seems much more stable in low DPI mode.

If you're serious about a mouse, go with the Logi G series.
