I finished a Ready-Go earlier, back 9 at Kaiwah, #1761. The conditions were comparable to the worst I've ever faced on WGT. Winds were 13 mph minimum and upwards of 22 mph. Mostly about 17-18 mph. In addition, I never had a tailwind, ever. Lol. Only a straight headwind 3 times and crosswinds that varied from head to tail. Without checking course logistics I'm not sure if this is even possible from virtual mother nature.
I don't mind the challenging conditions. Heck, kinda like the Brittish Open. My possible gripe is that the conditions weren't similar among the other participants, at least not to the degree that I faced. I checked the leaderboard after it closed and there's just too many low scores entered if they all received the extreme high winds. I know some of the entrants are good players, but there's not that many of the entrants that could post those scores under those conditions.
So, my question is............have any of you discussed or noticed that entrants of the same Ready-Go weren't all playing under the same wind conditions? How much much variation is there among participants within the same Ready-Go?
FYI, I could care less about losing 50 credits on this one. I'm just wondering if anyone else has either though of, or discussed this. Thanks.
