Heath021:Can someone please explain how...when the pin is back right...on #1 at Oakmont, down hill with the wind and some backspin not alot come up 35 feet short!
The elevation drop that you have to take into account when then pin is in the forward position plays differently with the back pin. With the longer iron you have to use you shouldn't allow for as much drop. That green slopes right to left and that back position is the highest part of it.
