  I have got enough credits up to look at upgrading and after reading previous posts it has been suggested that after the driver (already upgraded) to start with my wedges.

  I am currently using the starter Lob & Sand wedges and am after some advice on what to replace them with. At this stage I am thinking the TM Satins but not sure which degree lies to go for.

  I am still using the unlimited ball.

  Any advice would be appreciated.

  I factor in how any club I'm considering fits the rest of my bag.  Ask yourself how much longer you want to play with Starter clubs.  And if you do, keep in mind that your PW is rated at 90 yards so that can be your starting point.  Take a look at the Z Satin TP 54 (85Y) and 60 (65Y) degrees.  Those clubs are a bargain at 110 credits even though they do not fit, distance wise, as well as your Starter SW and LW.  Another club that few would argue is not one of the best clubs for the money is the Z Satin TP 64 (50) Wedge.  Believe it or not, many experienced players still carry that club in their bag and for 250 credits is well worth the money.  As Boomer points out, there is a lot of information available to help make your decision...but ultimately, that decision has to be yours.

  good advice joe.  also, many players get rid of their hybrid and use 3 wedges to help cover those distance below the pitching wedge.  the satin;s are great wedges as well as the pings and either one will help improve your short game over the free gear.

  with you being at Level 39 the Z Satins would be  huge improvment over the starter clubs.  I will always have my 64 Z Satin L39 club, great 50 yard club with super backspin if I need it.  Most of the Z Satins are great improvements.  As you move up you will find that the high end Clevelands are the most desirable.

  Word of caution though, do your homework and know what you need before you start buying just to get a better club.  Pay attention to meter speeds and how the club you have your eye on fits with the other clubs in the bag.  if your PW is a 100 club  look for a 90 wedge, and on down from there, you will be the best just of that as you know how the clubs work for you now.  Also, take advantage of the rent option, to try them out before you buy them.  Once you pay 200 credits for a club and start to resell it, you will be in for a shock as to what it is worth..nil.

  That would be my suggestion too.  Anything inside 50yds should be an almost automatic up and down once you get to know this club.

  And it's cheap like borscht!

  The 64 and 60. They fit nice up to your set wedge and just using full swings and full punches you will be able to cover  41  50  63  77 to the set wedge's 90. That's great spacing between the shots and you will be able to use them easily into the Legend tier.

  Hold off on a 3rd wedge until you decide to upgrade the irons. The better sets have longer PWs and that will affect what you would need as a 3rd wedge. Typically, the 90 yard Satin fits in with upgraded irons.

  Jim brings out a very good point. I upgraded my irons 3 times and each time, my wedges changed a little. However, the 64 Satin (50 yrds), I had from day 1 and still play it today. Only 250 credits. A great deal!!  I would noot even bother with any high dollar wedges because you can get excellent ones for cheap.
