    Hey everyone,

    I am a Pro 82.25,  I recently bought a driver, and I am lookign to buy either a putter, or some wedges.  Any suggestions, as to if I should buy each, or just one or the other. My irons are starters, as is my putter .  Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks

    First thing, looking at your bag you're a club short, only one wedge, you need 2 minimum.

    As for you're next purchase, consider this, more than half you're shots will be putts, so a good putter can really boost your game. A good short game is also very important, so if you can afford it, but both putter and wedges, lots of good wedges for 200 credits each, and they will last you a good while.

    Others I'm sure will advise on exact clubs, but try to keep all you're meter speeds the same or very close.

    Enjoy

    Further to this, a decent wood may boost your fairway game with a long carry on the second shot. I preferred it to a driver because it's double use, on the tee and on the fairway, with a bargain price.

    You may take the opportunity of "free rent" weekends. There were two in the last two months. Then you can pick up any club you like and test it. This made me get back to the starter putter - I'm so used to it (and I realised that I can't buy me a better index finger (trigger probs)).

    Looking at your stats, if i was only able to buy 1 club, it would be the lvl 39 zstalin 64 deg wedge.

    I still have mine, and would be a big improvement in how close your able to get from 50yds in. Amazing how much your putting improves when your closer to the hole.

    I would wait on the putter until the next free club rental weekend and then try putters out, and get what feels best to you. The wedge you will keep for a very long time.

    Just my .02.

    Hi,

    If I were you I would equip your-self with two good wedges. The Level 39 ZSTATIN 50yd will take you right through to Legend. I will not part with mine. Another would be the Level 42 Ping 75yd. Both are 200 credits and you have a choice of about 8 different shots with those two clubs. Both are great for Pitching, Chipping, Flops and full shots. They will improve your short game no end and your putting will be so much easier.

    Also take advantage of and READ the forum on Putting Tips and Distance Control. It is superb and uses the starter putter as the main example for all the useful tips you need to know. Here is the Link;

    That's my advice fwiw.
