anyone got any tips for reading the break

im having a hell of a time since i got to master, so many birdie putts missed by the ball sliding off to the side of the hole, one side or another, getting frustrating, any tips would be greatly appreciated

    thx in advance

    hi

I have few tips: downhill breaks break more, uphill less. also, you have to see where the break is on longer putts... early break often breaks more on shorter but not on longer (due to speed).

also, downhill at different stages of putt plays different.  if you have 6" downhill at the last 10 ft then likely it be 5-8ft by if you miss. if it's early, then you can control distance better.
