    1. am i reading right - do clubs you purchase wear out or break after so many uses???

    2.  If I am not prepared to put money into it, and I have just gone pro - should I spend my 150 now or wait for any more upgrades if there are any.

    3.  If I do use them now, do i get a new putter, the reviews of which are not great, or new balls?

    thanks for any help

Biased on what-your ability, Mr. I Wrote TheBook? LOL.

You can run but you can't hide.  :-D

Darwin-Do a couple of surveys to get up to 200 and go get a decent low wedge. It won't wear out like the balls do. You might change your mind in the future and that wedge will still be there.  GL

No balls IMO - you'll give WGT a weekly rent: They wear and get lost in water and rough.

A low wedge will be helpful eventually, as will a longer 3WD. OTOH, you may buy length but not skills. As long as your avg exceeds 80 (maybe less) I see no need for any custom clubs.

The budget way will be to wait as long as possible with the buy - on most levels there will be better clubs...

Also, wait for free rental weekends to try the clubs.
