  I get what you're saying, Gary. What I think you might be missing, and I do this myself, is the elevation change. We get focused on the break and forget to factor in just how flat the green really is. Some greens tilt over the entire green which gives you a gradual change unlike the bump on the green that only affects the putts rolling near it. 

  Invariably, when I miss a slow breaker like what you presented, I realize after the putt that it was a flat break, not a compound break where the incline affects the putting arc. My bad.  :-(

  For those of you that tend to make things more difficult than they really are....

  1) Determine your speed by looking at the green speed, distance, and elevation change

  2) Line your putt up using the reverse angle (cup angle).  

  3) Pull the pin using the icon on the upper right of the screen. 

  4) Read the green using a wedge.  You can get a much better read on the green.

  5) Set your line

  6) Switch back to putter

  7) Change to normal camera angle

  8)  Make your putt

   

  PS.. doing #4 will clear up most of the problems you guys bring up

  Ok ,  WTH I don't want to be a complainer  put come on. If the green shows a break at least make the ball break, on at least 5 holes on the Toughest Holes Tourney with in 3 ft greens showed a break ,ball went straight as an arrow. Front nine -5 wound up shooting a 67. 

  Come on WGT at least be fair if there is no break then don't show one 

  If you were playing the hardest hole tourney, remember that it is championship green speeds so the ball will be moving much faster and will not break as much.

  Um, if it's a faster green, you should hit it softer, therefore it will break more.

  But, yeah, if you hit it too hard for the green speed, it will break less.

  Pull the pin to read the green better.  Try it... you can see much better than having an "invisible" pin in front of you.

   Always aim your putt in reverse view. The ball will sit on either side of the grid-line that goes to the hole (most of the time). The dots on either side of that line can move in different directions or speeds. Use the side of the line that the ball is sitting on to aim your Putt. Don't forget to change back to normal view before putting or you can get confused.

  When in doubt...  Don't Aim, just hit the Ding. for a straight putt.

  Now saying that, yes I do agree with the OP, Putts can have a mind of it's own, that makes you sit there scratching your head and saying a few interesting words.
