  Get AVG Tuneup

  Great Program that makes your programs and internet run smooth.

  If you got and DSL this would help:

  1. Network connections - DSL - Right click - Properties.
  2. Configure button
  3. Advanced tab
  4. Checksum Offload - Rx & Tx Enabled
  5. Flow Control - Enabled
  6. Jumbo Frame - Choose your Max KB MTU
  7. Speed & Duplex Choose Max Full Duplex
  8. WOL & Shutdown Link Speed choose Max Mbps

  Unfortunately there is no way I would put anything on my system that is remotely associated with AVG

   

  However for a tried and true software which does the same thing , try

  TCP Optimizer
