When faced with player disconnects, is it better to resume my round or forfeit.  I play mostly "find a game stroke play" and  just want to build exp points maybe get an award once in awhile but would rather not hurt my average.  Being a social animal I prefer playing in a group.  So anyway, is it better to resume or forfeit or does it even matter?

It's worth it for the experience points. You get more when you complete a round.

Protecting your average is not the way to go.

    TrikiRik:
but would rather not hurt my average.

Your average is only calculated to advance tiers, otherwise it's meaningless. You can play and post scores in the weekly, and monthly single-play tournaments as well as playing multi-player stroke-play games. It would be a good idea to resume a multi-player stroke-play game so you can obtain your experience points and add to your total ranked rounds stat.
