As everyone knows, the golf ball are very expensive to buy. and they don't seem to last very long. Now I can understand when you lose a ball in the water or weeds it is gone. But when you only use a ball for 8 or 10 games and it is taken out of servise, that is totaly WRONG! When you are playing a real game of golf, I have never taken a ball out of servise. I have played with the same balls, Niki's or Titleist, for many years. The only way I change then is by losing them. I feel this game is set up to make people put in more money to but equipment to play. And I understand that. But I feel we are being being cheated. The game does not work properly. It is always getting disconnected from players will in a game. There is way to many errors going on. I feel if we are going to pay good money to play this game it should work right. It is very slow at loading and should be fixed. I for one will not put anymore money into it unless it is made to work properly. And I will not tell others to join until it is.

The game has to be paid for, it's an expensive business. I'd rather have a limited life on the balls than to pay a green fee.

Gbuch... if it is of any consolation to you, the tour pros change their golf ball about every 3-4 holes.  They realize how fast the effectiveness of a golf ball wears out.

I agree the life sometimes seems a bit short given the price but if you're getting 8 or 10 games of stroke play out of a ball you're doing pretty well.  I assume you're playing more CTTH than stroke play?

I don't think I've ever played a ball more than a couple of rounds in real life before it gets cut up a bit and has to be replaced, especially something soft like a Pro V1.

You're obviously very kind to your balls!

Whoa!  Just checked your profile.  Seriously, don't bother with Nike balls for blitz games.  There are plenty of cheaper balls that will do the job.  If you're OK with a full speed meter the Tour SD are great value and work damn well.

I used 'em until I got really fast clubs... best deal in balls by far.

For what it's worth, the pros change their balls every 3 holes or so.
