  Is there anywhere I can find how this game is scored?  I'm sure there has to be some logic to how it's done and I would love to understand it.

  For example last game I end up 15.4 feet from the hole, opponent 6 feet further, less than 100 points difference.  Next hole is similar differences and scores.

  Next hole we both end up in the same patch of rough 27 yards from the hole, less than 2 feet apart.  he gets almost 2K more.

  2 holes later I'm 3 feet away on the fringe and my opponent is 15+ feet but on the green.  He gets + 1500.

   

  Please explain or link to something if you can.

  Closest to the hole scoring is simple.  If you are 10 feet away your score for the hole is 10. That's assuming you hit the green.  Missing the green adds penalty points.

  I think you're talking about blitz games which is multiplayer ctth.
